I'm a Detroiter.

Where did you go to school?

I went to Henry Ford High School in Detroit, and Livingstone College in Salisbury, North Carolina.

Who are your favorite sports teams?

Everything Detroit! Pistons, Lions, Tigers...

What types of music do you like, and who is your favorite artist?

Rap music, especially Jay Z, Selfmeyi and K-Dubb. Artists? R. Kelly, Joe, Mary J. Blige, and Lyfe.

What types of movies do you like, and what is your all-time favorite?

My favorite movies are Love Jones and Best Man.

Do you watch much TV? What are your favorites?

Yes! I like The Wire, Sopranos, 24, Prison Break, Entourage, and The Young and the Restless.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I read a lot, coach basketball, and love spending time with my kids.

What are your favorite foods?

My favorite food is chicken - Outback has the best crab legs! - and pizza.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be/do when you grew up?

Growing up, I wanted to be a doctor or an actor. Writing, I can be both!

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? Why?

If I could live anywhere in the world? It would be right here in Detroit. I love my city, and don't think there's any place else like it. I love the summers and the winters here.

If you could switch places with one person for a week, who would it be? Why?

I'd love to be a kid again, any kid. I miss those days. Other than that, I'm comfortable in my own skin.
